"Ajman Municipality" Launch an initiative "The journey of artificial intelligence makers" To enhance institutional innovation

The initiative comes in support of the department’s strategic goal of developing innovation incubators to support scientific research and innovation programmes. It is also consistent with the UAE government’s directives to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence applications and transform them into practical solutions that contribute to improving the quality of government services and raising the efficiency of institutional performance.
The initiative was inaugurated by Engineer Noura Rashid Shattaf, Executive Director of the Strategy and Customer Happiness Sector, stressing the department’s interest in promoting a culture of innovation and accelerating the use of artificial intelligence technologies in areas of institutional work, in line with the UAE government’s directions towards building a more flexible and sustainable government system.
In its first phase, the initiative targets 30 employees, and is implemented in partnership and cooperation with private sector partners represented by “Netways” and “AI Brains” as part of an integrated applied journey aimed at transforming innovative ideas into practical projects with an institutional impact.

She added that the initiative is not limited to theoretical training, but rather relies on a practical methodology that begins with human empowerment and developing knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence applications, through developing prototypes for projects, then presenting and evaluating them, all the way to honoring the best applicable projects, in a way that enhances employees’ readiness to lead digital transformation and create innovative solutions that meet the needs of institutional work.
The initiative aims to enhance the culture of artificial intelligence and innovation within the department, and enable employees to employ artificial intelligence applications in developing their work, in addition to preparing cadres capable of leading artificial intelligence initiatives, developing prototypes and applied projects that address business challenges and opportunities, and contribute to improving services and raising the efficiency of institutional operations.
It is worth noting that the initiative contributes to developing applied projects that support institutional services and processes, raising employees’ efficiency in using artificial intelligence applications, enhancing knowledge exchange between various sectors, in addition to building a sustainable system for artificial intelligence applications within the department.
