"Khalifa Fund" Supports the participation of 13 small and medium companies in the Liwa Dates Festival 2026

ABU DHABI, 14 JULY / WAM / The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development is participating in the 22nd edition of the Liwa Dates Festival, which will be held from 14 to 23 July in the city of Liwa in the Al Dhafra region, organized by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority.
Participation comes as an embodiment of the integration between the festival’s goals of preserving cultural heritage and enhancing its presence, and the role of the Khalifa Fund in enabling Emirati projects to transform this heritage into sustainable economic value, by supporting entrepreneurs and increasing the growth opportunities for their projects, in a way that enhances innovation, preserves national identity, and consolidates the contribution of national projects to economic development.
Within this year’s edition, the Fund supports the participation of 13 small and medium Emirati companies representing various sectors including artificial intelligence, creative industries, fashion, manufacturing, food and beverages, and retail trade, which reflects the diversity of the Emirati entrepreneurship system and the ability of national projects to employ innovation to preserve the Emirati identity and transform it into value-added products and services.
The companies participating in the fund’s pavilion include Nuwa Hub, which specializes in artificial intelligence and innovation solutions, NEXBA Healthcare Supplies, which manufactures personal care products using green nanotechnology, KWACHI Fashion, which designs Emirati fashion, and MZS Heritage Designs, which specializes in providing creative designs and products inspired by heritage.
The list of participants includes projects in the food and beverage sector, including “Maison Aliza”, which serves Emirati cuisine with a modern touch, “Saraya Al Dhafra” for local cuisine, “Gentle Bite” for healthy meals, “H Almughairah Bakery” for baked goods and sweets, and “AYA Café” for specialty coffee and drinks inspired by Emirati heritage, in addition to projects in other sectors including “MSYAN” for retail trade, and “Unique”. Signature” for perfume trading, “ABK Photography” for photography services, and “Maiza Textile” for clothing and textiles.
The Khalifa Fund Pavilion at the Liwa Dates Festival 2026 gives visitors the opportunity to learn about the products of participating Emirati companies, explore examples of national projects that combine heritage and innovation, and provides entrepreneurs with a platform to display their products, communicate with visitors, and build new relationships and partnerships, which enhances their access to markets and opens up new opportunities for growth and expansion.
