The National Curriculum Center included the Chinese language subject in the study plan for the third intermediate grade in schools implementing the program, in conjunction with the creation of specialized schools and temporary study plans, within the sixth edition of the guide to approved study plans for the academic year 1448 AH, within the framework of developing the educational system, diversifying study paths, and enhancing the flexibility of plans in keeping with the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

The guide explained that the inclusion of The Chinese language comes within the expansion of teaching foreign languages, as it is one of the basic subjects in the schools selected to implement the program, which contributes to developing students’ language skills and preparing them to deal with global changes and the requirements of the future.

The guide has also been created Specialized schools are among the schools implementing gifted programs, as an educational path that provides quality services to students according to approved standards and specifications, which each school specializes in according to its field, in addition to the continuation of work in gifted classes and school care programs that provide specialized educational programs and advanced educational experiences within the school day.

The center also developed temporary study plans, which are approved for a specific period of time in response to educational, organizational, or operational conditions or variables, with the aim of providing alternative or developed educational models that ensure Continuity of the educational process, and supports schools in achieving their goals efficiently.

Included UpdatesApproval of study plans for Arts Initiative schools, which include teaching culture, visual, musical, and performing arts as basic subjects in selected schools, as part of a trend aimed at developing creativity, discovering talent, and enhancing students’ artistic skills.

The center also updated a number of terms included in the guide, in addition to updating the appendices, and adding the study plan for summer campaigns and related organizations, in order to keep pace with developments taking place in the education sector, and enhance the flexibility of implementing study plans.
