Nahyan bin Mubarak: In "Union era day" We renew our pledge of loyalty to the nation, to its leader, and to everything that is Emirati
ABU DHABI, 18 JULY / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, affirmed that the “Union Era Day” will remain a witness to the blessed efforts made with sincerity and dedication by the late Founding Father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul,” inasmuch as he gave to this nation in terms of effort, thought and work, and his brothers the founding leaders of the Emirates, as the Founding Father and his brothers the rulers signed the Document of the Union and the Constitution of the Emirates, They announced the name of our state; The United Arab Emirates, to be a symbol of values, renaissance, progress and giving, and to accommodate all aspirants around the world, was a symbol of success in all fields, until it became a model and role model for nations and peoples.
His Excellency said that if the second of December was a glorious day in the history of the Emirates, the region and the world, because it witnessed the birth of the nation of tolerance, human brotherhood, renaissance and peace, then the 18th of July is one of the glorious days of the Emirates, because it was the main platform from which the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan, may God rest his soul, and with him the founding fathers, set out to unite our emirates on the second of December 1971.
He explained that if the founding fathers had pledged among themselves on that day, and pledged to God that they would all unite on a common word that would bring them together in cooperation and solidarity, to establish this nation, which, thanks to their blessed efforts and the efforts of the leadership of the Emirates after them, had become an example and role model in the region and the world, and had even become a destination for aspirants, innovators, and those searching for hope for a better tomorrow around the world, then on this blessed historical day we renew the pledge and promise to God, the nation, and the leader of its path, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The President of the State, “may God protect him,” to make the most precious sacrifices so that our homeland, the Emirates, may live tall and hold the banner high, and become a model of renaissance, civilization, humanity, and coexistence. We also pledge our wise leadership to listen, obey, be loyal, belong, fulfill, and be grateful for what they have provided for the future of the Emirates, which is the future of all of us.
He added that July 18 will remain a day on which we remember our founding leaders, and on which we declare that we are following in their footsteps and that we stand united behind His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” and that we will always work in accordance with his wise vision, and that we will be loyal to everything that is Emirati, and that our loyalty will be to this nation and to the leader of its path, His Highness the President of the State, and that our affiliation, effort, and devotion to its soil will be a living embodiment of the gratitude and gratitude that we declare. All of us towards the history of our nation, its values, and its path, whose leadership has ensured that the UAE becomes a home of security, safety, prosperity, tolerance and coexistence for all its citizens and residents of its land.
His Excellency said that on the “Day of the Era of the Union,” we express our full commitment to follow in their footsteps, and always unite behind His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him.” We all pledge that each will work in his field for the renaissance of our beloved nation, protect it, uphold its values, and extend a hand to everyone around the world as an expression of its humanity, a symbol of its giving, and the generosity of its people, in accordance with the wise vision that he defined for all of us. His Highness the President of the State, may God protect him.
At the end of his speech, His Excellency extended his warmest congratulations and blessings to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” and his brothers, Their Highnesses the Sheikhs, Members of the Supreme Council, Rulers of the Emirates, and all the sons and daughters of the Emirates on this glorious national occasion.
