Al Jazeera is competing with Flamengo, Fenerbahce and Spartak Moscow for the inclusion of Malcom

Brazilian media reports stated that Al Jazira Club expressed its desire to include the Brazilian winger Malcom, the Saudi Al Hilal player, during the current transfer period, amid also interest from the Brazilian Flamengo, Turkish Fenerbahce and Russian Spartak Moscow clubs in contracting with the player, at a time when reports indicate that negotiations between “Abu Dhabi Pride” and Malcolm are progressing and that he is approaching a move to the professional league.
According to the Brazilian newspaper Lancey, negotiations between Al Jazira and Malcolm have witnessed significant progress in recent hours, and the 29-year-old player is close to moving to the ranks of the Emirati club, especially with Al Hilal’s desire to end the contractual relationship with the player before the end of his contract, which extends until June 2027.
The newspaper explained: “Malcolm receives a high salary with Al Hilal, as reports indicate that his income amounts to about 9 million euros annually, which is one of the factors that may affect his next destination, after the player was previously unwilling to reduce his salary in order to return to the Brazilian league.”
She added: “The Brazilian club Flamengo had expressed interest in including Malcolm earlier, and made contacts to inquire about the possibility of contracting with him, but the club management denied the existence of official negotiations currently with the player, as the association of Malcolm’s name with Flamengo is due to the club’s desire to strengthen its offensive line with a player who has European and international experience, but the financial aspect represents a challenge in light of the player’s high salary.”
She continued: “Al-Jazira is not the only club interested in Malcolm’s services, as the player’s name has also been linked to the Turkish clubs Fenerbahce and Russian Spartak Moscow. However, the Emirati offer appears to be the most advanced at the present time, with the player’s desire to continue playing in the Gulf region after his successful experience in Saudi Arabia.”
