Chelsea makes Morgan Rogers the most expensive Englishman in history

Chelsea agreed to sign Aston Villa player Morgan Rogers for 137 million euros, making him the most expensive English player in history, surpassing the number of Elliot Anderson, who moved from Nottingham to Manchester City for 135 million euros.
Chelsea agreed with the player on personal terms for a six-year contract until 2032, with the option to extend for an additional 12 months, and a medical examination is scheduled to take place on Monday.
Rogers, 23 years old, expressed his desire to move to Chelsea, where the new coach Xabi Alonso and the club’s project are considered among the most important factors of attraction, although Arsenal is also interested in including him.
