Didn’t get the appreciation it deserved

French national football team captain Kylian Mbappé sent a touching farewell message to coach Didier Deschamps a few hours before playing the third-place match against England.
Mbappe wrote on his official account on the “X” platform: “Today is your last dance. You are the one who gave us so much. We were supposed to give you a better ending, but we did not succeed. It is difficult to describe what you have provided over the course of 14 years. You were an essential element in the development of this team, even though you did not receive the appreciation you deserve, but time and history will immortalize that.”
France was dreaming of achieving a historic achievement by reaching the World Cup final for the third time in a row, but its dreams were shattered after the harsh 2-0 loss to Spain in the semi-finals, and it found itself forced to content itself with competing in the third-place match against England.
