Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan reviews the efforts of Umm Al Quwain Police in combating drugs
Umm Al Quwain, July 20 / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Chairman of the National Anti-Narcotics Agency, visited the General Headquarters of Umm Al Quwain Police. He was received by His Excellency Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Mualla, Commander-in-Chief of Umm Al Quwain Police, His Excellency Brigadier General Humaid Matar Ajeel, Deputy Commander-in-Chief, and a number of senior officers.
During the visit, His Excellency was briefed on the work system implemented by the Umm Al Quwain Police in the field of combating drugs, and the security measures it includes, field operations, and preventive and awareness plans aimed at reducing the spread of this scourge and enhancing community awareness of its dangers, in a way that supports the state’s efforts to protect society and maintain its security and stability.
His Excellency listened to a presentation on the most prominent initiatives, projects and achievements achieved by the Umm Al Quwain Police General Command in the fields of security and policing work, which are based on developing the quality of police services and raising the efficiency of institutional performance, by enhancing operational readiness, developing human capabilities, and employing modern technologies and smart solutions in a way that contributes to improving the security system and quality of life.
The presentation included an introduction to the smart warehouse innovation developed by Umm Al Quwain Police, as part of keeping pace with the UAE’s trends towards employing artificial intelligence technologies in developing government work.
His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad Al Nahyan praised the development witnessed by the Umm Al Quwain Police General Command in the various sectors of security work, praising its efforts in adopting the best practices and innovations that enhance community security and contribute to achieving the vision of the wise leadership towards providing pioneering and sustainable police services.
For his part, His Excellency Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Mualla confirmed that Umm Al Quwain Police is continuing to implement its strategic plans according to a proactive approach based on innovation and investment in artificial intelligence technologies, in addition to developing institutional competencies, in a way that enhances the security and safety system, improves the quality of police services, and keeps pace with the aspirations of the wise leadership towards leadership and excellence in security work.
