المملكة: “Education” requires secondary schools to make elective subjects available in person and electronically

The Ministry of Education obligated secondary schools to make elective subjects available to students for the academic year 1448 AH, in person and through self-learning electronic courses. It targets the procedure in the Subjectsof both types within the educational environment, according to the regulations of the high school manual. This comes to enable students to benefit from various learning opportunities, while fully adhering to the approved procedures.
Diversifying Learning Styles
The sixth edition of the development of study plans stated its focus on diversifying learning styles and providing flexible educational options that are consistent with the Ministry’s objectives. This approach gives the student a wider scope to choose courses that support his academic path and future skills.
Elective subjects contribute to directing part of the student’s educational journey towards his interests, while completing the requirements of the basic plan. Education confirmed that this enhances the quality of outputs and raises Students’ readiness to continue university education or join the labor market.
The new organization reflects an explicit approach to promoting flexible learning and taking advantage of modern technologies in delivering courses without prejudice to academic requirements. The decision seeks to keep pace with the goals of developing education and improving the student experience within the school corridors.
