Dialogue session with "Liwa for wet" On the role of artificial intelligence in agriculture
Al Dhafra, July 22 / WAM / The Liwa Dates Festival hosted a dialogue session entitled “From the Shadows of the Palm Tree to the Horizons of Innovation,” which witnessed a youth dialogue that discussed the role of the palm tree in promoting innovation, applications of artificial intelligence, sustainability, and the circular economy, in a vision that combines the authenticity of heritage and anticipating the future.
The session discussed ways to harness artificial intelligence and modern technologies to serve farmers and support the palm sector in a way that contributes to raising productivity and improving quality.
Participants highlighted the circular economy and sustainability by recycling palm waste and natural plants for use in mushroom cultivation, poultry feed production, and other beneficial environmental applications.
The session witnessed distinguished participation from young farmers, Rashid bin Hadha Al Marar, Hazza Sultan Al Nuaimi, Saif Al Alawi, and Dhiab Al Ketbi, who presented their visions about integrating technology with sustainable agriculture.
The Liwa Dates Festival continues to present an integrated series of educational and awareness lectures and seminars related to the agricultural sector, interest in palm trees, and ways to preserve the environment, in addition to presenting many vital topics that serve society and promote the process of sustainable development, with the support of the United Arab Emirates University and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
