Dubai International Marine Club concludes its modern sailing summer program on July 30

Dubai, July 24 / WAM / The Dubai International Marine Sports Club will conclude on July 30 the activities of the Modern Sailing Summer Program 2026, after conducting the final test for participants on July 29, whereby those who meet the training and evaluation requirements will be granted a certificate of completion of the first level in modern sailing, as part of its efforts to prepare a new generation of practitioners of this Olympic sport.

The club explained that the program, which is led by Emirati training cadres, attracts participants from multiple nationalities and cultures, in a training experience that reflects the ingenuity of national competencies in preparing talent and developing marine and Olympic sports.

The program, which is being held on Bulgari Beach in Dubai, targets children and young people from the age of 6 to under 15 years, as part of the club’s keenness to provide an integrated sports and educational environment that allows members of the community to practice modern sailing and learn about one of the most prominent sports linked to the history of the Emirates and its maritime heritage.

Yousef Khaled Al Bastaki, head coach at the Dubai International Marine Sports Club and supervisor of the program, confirmed that leading an Emirati coach for a program that includes participants of different nationalities and cultures embodies the competence of national cadres in managing specialized sports programs and transferring expertise according to a professional approach, thus enhancing the position of the UAE and Dubai in the development of marine and Olympic sports.
