المملكة: “Defense”: Air defenses intercept and destroy drones launched by Iranian-affiliated militias from Iraqi territory

The Ministry of Defense announced the interception and destruction of a number of drones during the past hours, after they attempted to target oil facilities in the eastern and Riyadh regions.

The official spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, explained that the drones were launched from Iraqi territory and were carried out by terrorist militias affiliated with Iran, confirming the success of the air defenses in dealing with them and thwarting the attack.

Al-Maliki stressed that the Kingdom reserves its legitimate right to defend defenses. Its territories and capabilities, and it reserves the right to respond at the appropriate time and place, as required by international regulations and laws.
