My journey was not easy… and the Jeddah audience reflects the fine taste in art
She said: “I believe that whoever has a clear vision, true passion, and strong determination can always achieve what he aspires to. There is no doubt that presenting purposeful art is different from the prevailing art required in the markets today, and I personally do not like to use terms such as ‘markets’ or ‘art arenas,'” Because for me art is something very deep and real.”
She pointed out that her audience has a special taste, as they tend to hear poems that carry deep meanings and melodies characterized by craftsmanship and passionate arrangement.
She added: “If it were not for the existence of an audience that loves this type of art, it would not have continued. It depends on finding the appropriate tools and method to reach this audience and present the work in the way it deserves.”

Faya Younan concert
Younan spoke about her concert that she performed in the city of Jeddah, organized by the “Focali” company, amid a large audience that filled the Dar Al-Hekma Theater, saying:: In the Gulf countries, there has always been a great interest in classical Arabic and poetry, and this is a wonderful thing that reflects the deep culture of the region.
She continued: This is my second visit to Jeddah, and the first was when we won the award for the best sung poem for the poem “Oh My Killer” by the poet Mahdi Mansour. This honor was a very special moment, especially since the song was released five years ago, which indicates the continuity in appreciation of literary works. And artistic.
She expressed her happiness at singing for Talal Maddah and Ebadi Al-Johar during the ceremony, saying::“These two Saudi artists are among the greatest and eternal artistic icons. Their works have a quality that makes them renewed with time, as you can hear them after decades of years as if you were listening to them for the first time.

She also expressed her happiness in presenting her first song “Ya Qamar” to the Jeddah audience, saying: Today I was happy to present my first song ‘Ya Qamar’ to the Jeddah audience, and I look forward to more Gulf works in the future, God willing.
Faya Younan concluded her speech with a loving message to the Jeddah audience, saying: “You are a wonderful audience in every sense of the word, delicious, attentive and sensitive. My first concert here was a very special experience, and it will certainly not be the last. I look forward to many upcoming meetings that will bring us together in love and art.”
