Ismail Al Hashemi, Vice President of the Asian Padel Federation

The Asian Padel Federation chose Ismail Al Hashemi, Second Vice President of the UAE Padel Federation, as First Vice President of the Asian Padel Federation for a period extending 4 years, during the meeting held by the Asian Padel Federation yesterday, Thursday, in the Qatari capital, Doha.
The selection of Al Hashemi comes as an affirmation of the confidence of continental and international organizations in the United Arab Emirates, represented by its competent cadres in various fields, specifically the sports sector and padel, as Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, President of the Emirates Padel Federation, holds the position of honorary presidency of the Arab Federation. For padel, the UAE also launched the first Arab national team championship in 2023.
The name of the Emirates has been associated with excellence and distinction with the sport of padel, after the country became a major destination for hosting the largest and most important tournaments, including the World Championship, which was held in 2022, and the Dubai Premier Padel Championship, which was held recently with the participation of the elite top-ranked players, in addition to the large and continuous increase in the numbers of practitioners and private clubs. This sport has rapid growth and development in the country.
Our national team also achieved a historic achievement, by obtaining fifth place in the World Championship hosted by the State of Qatar this year, the best result for an Arab team in the World Cup.
Ismail Al Hashemi has great sporting experience, and he also holds the position of a member of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Sports Council.
