Bayern Munich and Manchester City joke with a United fan

Major clubs joked with Manchester United fan Frank Ellett, who recently became famous for his long hair, after his team failed to achieve a fifth consecutive victory in the English Premier League.
Yesterday, Manchester United lost to a 1-1 draw against its host West Ham United at the London Olympic Stadium for the 26th round of the Premier League, a result that brought fan Elite back to square one in his quest to cut his hair.
After the match, Manchester City’s official account, on the “X” platform in the United States, published a picture of its star and top scorer, Norwegian Erling Haaland, with his long, straight hair.
The City account commented on the photo: “There is nothing wrong with growing your hair long,” referring to the Red Devils fan having to wait again to be able to shave his long hair.
The official account of Bayern Munich in English joined its counterpart, Manchester City, and in turn published a sarcastic tweet at X from the famous fan known as “The United Strand.”
The Bavarian giant’s account wrote: “There is still time to become a Bayern Munich fan,” accompanying the tweet with an icon of a man cutting his hair.
A clip of the aforementioned fan was spread on social media watching the match from a barbershop, waiting for his hair to be shaved for the first time in 500 days, according to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”.
Elite (29 years old) seemed very sad after the final whistle, as he now has to wait for Manchester United to achieve 5 consecutive victories again.
Elite had pledged in October 2024 not to cut his hair until his favorite team, Manchester United, won five consecutive matches in the English Premier League.
The Red Devils entered their match against West Ham needing a win to strengthen their position in fourth place in the standings, in addition to saving the fan from his long hair, but the confrontation ended in a positive draw.
