Al-Ahly club had captured its first points in the tournament after defeating Abidjan Stadium with a score of 4-2, to come at the top of the group, while Orlando gained its points after the victory. It defeated CS Belouizdad with two goals to one to occupy second place.
It is noteworthy that the draw for the African Champions League It placed Al-Ahly Club in the third group against Algeria’s Chabab Belouizdad, South Africa’s Orlando Pirates, and Ivorian Stade Abidjan.
