Details of the General Football Association’s approval of the Abu Rida Council
The “Goal Project” will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, at the National Teams Center. In 6th of October City, the General Assembly of the Egyptian Football Association held a meeting to elect a new board to manage Egyptian football until 2028, as well as to approve the budget and other items.
The bylaws of the Football Association stipulate that 50 + 1% must be present. Of the number of members of the General Assembly, therefore, 66 clubs must be present out of 129 clubs, which is the number of members of the General Assembly that have the right to attend, in order for a quorum to be complete, provided that the vote is 25% yes to choose the engineer’s list. Hani Abu Rida won by acclamation.
The registration process to participate in the activities of the General Assembly of Jabaliya begins at nine in the morning, with attendance registration closing at 11 am.
Engineer Hani’s list has been advanced. Abu Rida, a member of the FIFA Supreme Council and the CAF Executive Office, submitted her candidacy papers for the Football Association elections, while no other list submitted before the nomination period closed, and although no other lists submitted, they… More than half of the members of the General Assembly are required to be present in order for the elections to be approved.
Abu Rida’s list includes Khaled Al-Dirandali as a deputy, and the membership includes Ahmed Helmy Al-Sharif, Muhammad Al-Sherbini, Mustafa Abu Zahra, Tariq Muhammad Abu Al-Enein, Walid Abdel-Gawad, and Muhammad Abu Hussein. And media personality Enas Mazhar, which is the council that will manage Egyptian football until the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
