Win list "Abu Raida" In the Football Association elections by acclamation
Hani Abu Raida and his list won the Egyptian Football Association elections by acclamation, after obtaining 107 votes out of 115.
At nine o’clock this morning, Tuesday, the Football Association opened registration for clubs to attend the General Assembly meeting. At the headquarters of the National Teams Center “Goal Project” In 6th of October City.
The bylaws stipulate that 50+1 of the members of the General Assembly, 68 clubs out of 134 clubs, must be present in order to complete a quorum, provided that 25% vote yes to choose the list. And winning by acclamation, and if the quorum is not complete or Engineer Hani Abu Rida’s list is rejected, the Executive Director of the Football Association will assume the duties of the Jabaliyah, provided that the procedures are repeated. The door for candidacy for the elections will be opened again.
Today, the General Assembly witnesses the election of a new council to manage Egyptian football, and the list of Engineer Hani Abu Raida, a member of the Executive Office of the International and African Federations, submitted nomination papers for the Football Association elections, while no Any other list shall advance before nominations close.
The list includes Hani Abu Rida, president, and Khaled. Al-Dirandali deputy, and the membership includes Ahmed Helmy Al-Sharif, Hamada El-Sherbiny, Mustafa Abu Zahra, Tariq Muhammad Abu Al-Enein, Walid Abdel-Gawad, Muhammad Abu Hussein, and the journalist Enas Mazhar, and 3 additional members were prepared and placed on the reserve list in anticipation of excluding any of these names, and they are Dr. Ashraf Moussa, James Hanna, and Hiyam Baraka.
