The launch of the International Reading Forum in Riyadh… tomorrow, Thursday

Tomorrow, Thursday, the capital, Riyadh, will host the launch of the activities of the International Reading Forum, organized by the Libraries Authority at the King Abdullah Financial Center during the period from 19 to 21 December.
The forum aims to support national transformation, enhance global cultural dialogue, consolidate the values ​​of reading, and enrich the cultural experience of society.
The forum works to bring together multiple cultures and diverse civilizations to open new horizons for readers of different age groups and intellectual orientations.
It also focuses on sustainable education, enhancing cultural communication, building an environment conducive to cultural creativity and innovation, and highlights Saudi talents that have left their mark in reading and thought, which contributes to enhancing their cultural presence.

Promoting a culture of reading

The forum includes several main sections, including the theater, which hosts an elite group of speakers who share their inspiring reading experiences, dialogue sessions that discuss various cultural and intellectual topics, in addition to interactive workshops covering reading and speed reading techniques on a daily basis for an hour.
The forum also offers a book exchange corner, which allows visitors to explore a selection of books with the possibility of exchanging them, which enhances the culture of reading and community participation.
During its three days, the forum will review a range of discussion topics, most notably the creation of reading initiatives with a sustainable impact, the importance of reading history for the future, and the impact of technology on reading and learning habits.
One of the sessions also deals with human stories on a topic from the bamboo stalk to the travels of the Mud City, while the second day’s topics include global literary communication and the transformations of superheroes, and the third day’s sessions discuss the magic of narrative and the impact of effective reading on the author’s success.
The forum represents an integrated cultural experience that seeks to enhance the presence of reading in the life of society as an essential part of cultural development and intellectual innovation, making it a distinguished cultural platform for emerging and adult generations.
