Different cultures.. Details of the first day of the International Reading Forum in Riyadh
The International Reading Forum, organized by the Libraries Authority, kicked off today from December 19 to 21, at the King Abdullah Financial Center in the capital, Riyadh.
The forum aims to support the ambitious national transformation process, enrich global cultural dialogue, consolidate the values of culture and reading, highlight local creators, and enrich the reading experience.

The “International Reading Forum” brings together different cultures and civilizations to open readers’ horizons in engaging in new experiences, which contribute to nurturing their cultural stock.

International Reading Forum
In its first day, the forum discussed many important cultural dialogue sessions concerned with readers, literature, Saudi Arabia, and Arab culture, in addition to a number of workshops that dealt with desert culture and Arab identity.

The forum is accompanied by many events and activities specialized in reading and exchanging books, in addition to allowing attendees to access the theater and participate in workshops.
