Wadi Degla organizes the largest ceremony to honor sports champions and coaches in the 2023/2024 season
The Wadi Degla Clubs organized the largest annual honoring ceremony during the 2023/2024 season at the headquarters of the Wadi Degla Al-Nakhil Club, where 932 athletes, technical and medical staff were honored.
The ceremony’s activities included celebrating the achievements of the club’s athletes in various sports, in addition to honoring the coaches and administrators who contributed to achieving these successes. This represents an appreciation for the exceptional excellence achieved by the champions at the local and international levels, and the ceremony also highlighted the efforts of distinguished athletes in various sports.
In this context, Tariq expressed Rashid, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wadi Degla Clubs, expressed his happiness with what the players achieved in various sports, saying: “We are very proud of what our heroes achieved in various sports during the season.” 2023/2024.
We were keen to honor all the coaches and administrators who provided great support to achieve these achievements. Our commitment to developing our athletes does not stop, and we always strive to provide a stimulating environment that encourages excellence and inspires future generations. It represents a message of thanks to these heroes for their efforts during the 2023/2024 season, and motivates them to continue working to achieve more achievements. It is also a message to the club’s juniors. To emulate the heroes in effort, perseverance, and striving to achieve achievements that honor Egyptian sports.
The ceremony witnessed the honoring of 68 male and female special abilities players who achieved 68 various medals locally during the 2023/2024 season, In addition to honoring the technical staff and players of various games such as bow and arrow, speedball, bowling, judo, and chess, the chess champions won 5 various medals locally and internationally. Swimming, flipper swimming, artistic and speed batting, rhythmic and artistic gymnastics, karate, squash, volleyball, football, basketball, taekwondo, and tennis were also honored.
The annual ceremony is an opportunity to appreciate the efforts of athletes who have achieved remarkable achievements in 2024, while strengthening the status of Wadi Degla clubs as a community of sports talent (the community of champions). The ceremony reflected the club’s ongoing commitment to providing a sporting environment that encourages excellence and inspires future generations to achieve more successes. All coaches and administrators who contributed to achieving these great achievements were also honored.
