المملكة: With 180 distinguished projects… 200 students qualify to present their projects in “Ibdaa”
The Ministry of Education, in partnership with the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba”, announced that 200 male and female students have qualified to participate in the Ibdaa Science and Engineering Exhibition “Ibdaa 2025”, scheduled to be held in Riyadh from 2 to 6 February.
The qualified students participated in 180 distinguished projects, selected from more than 290,000 projects submitted in 22 scientific fields within the Creativity Olympiad. The fourth stage included holding central exhibitions and intensive training workshops to ensure the excellence and quality of the projects.
Scientific research and innovation
The Olympics witnessed the participation of more than 23,000 projects, 480 of which were selected for the central exhibitions held in Riyadh, Jeddah, the Eastern Province, and Medina.
The selection process was carried out according to precise scientific criteria that include diversity and innovation in fields such as cybersecurity, programming, data science, digital manufacturing, and medical engineering.

The Ibdaa Science and Engineering Exhibition aims to develop students’ capabilities in the fields of scientific research and innovation, and enable them to represent the Kingdom in regional and international forums, in addition to promoting the culture of scientific research and creativity among the younger generations.
