Humaid bin Rashid issues a decree promoting and appointing an advisor to the Emiri Court in Ajman
Ajman, December 30, 2020 – His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, issued Emiri Decree No. 15 of 2024 regarding the promotion and appointment of an advisor to the Emiri Diwan in Ajman.
The decree stipulated that His Excellency Walid Khalil Ahmed Al-Sayyed Al-Hashimi be promoted to the rank of head of a department and that he be appointed as an advisor in the Amiri Diwan, provided that this decree is effective from the date of its issuance and published in the Official Gazette.
His Excellency Walid Khalil Al Hashemi has held the position of Director General of the Financial Audit Authority in Ajman since 2014. He also held the position of Director General of the Department of Finance in Ajman. He holds a master’s degree in accounting in 2001 from the University of Colorado in the United States of America, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the UAE University. .
Al Hashemi held many government positions, including Director of the Customs Affairs Department at the Federal Customs Authority, and worked as a lecturer at the United Arab Emirates University.
