Engineer Hani Abu Rida, President of the Football Association, visited the Premier League referee development camp currently held at the National Teams Center, the first phase of which concludes tonight. Abu Rida met with the 55 referees of the arena, a flag bearer, and the committee of experts, in the presence of Walid Darwish and Muhammad Abu Hussein, members of the council.
Engineer Hani Abu Rida assured the referees during the friendly session – which was for support and raising morale – that The Football Association supported Egyptian arbitration and its referees of all categories and levels, technically, materially and morally, pointing out that mistakes occur all over the world, provided that they are not repeated, and he said: We expect the best from you.
The President of the Football Association praised the Egyptian referees, stressing his absolute confidence. Among them, and also in the expert committee that is currently managing matters, but he pointed out the need to respect the clubs’ desire and decision in agreement with the Club Association and the previous council on the necessity of seeking the help of an expert. He pointed out that the referees’ dues are a red line, so the first decision of the Board of Directors was to pay all the arrears until December 31, calling for the need to achieve more focus during the coming period to reduce mistakes.
