In the absence of Kohler… Al-Ahly ends its final training session before facing Smouha
The first football team of Al-Ahly club held its final training session this evening at Mokhtar Al-Touch Stadium in Al-Jazira, in preparation for facing Smouha in an important match within the Premier League championship competitions. The match is scheduled to be held tomorrow, Tuesday, at four in the afternoon.
The assistant staff assumed leadership of the team’s training today in the absence of technical director Marcel Kohler, who suffered from a health condition and an intestinal flu, which forced him to miss training. Kohler is undergoing continuous medical follow-up to evaluate his health condition and determine his position on participating in the Smouha match tomorrow.
The team’s training today included a light physical part, followed by tactical exercises using the ball. The goalkeepers also underwent special training under the supervision of their coach, Michel Yancon. While Mahmoud Kahraba participated in the group training after recovering from a cold he suffered in the previous days.
After the end of the final training session, the technical staff announced the list of players who will enter. The team’s camp in preparation for tomorrow’s match, as Al-Ahly seeks to achieve victory to continue progress in the Premier League.
