Organizing Committee for"Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open Tennis Club": The 2025 edition is the strongest in the tournament’s history

ABU DHABI, 10 JANUARY / WAM / The organizing committee of the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open Women’s Tennis Championship announced that the 2025 edition will be the strongest in the history of the tournament, with the participation of 7 of the top 20 players in the world in the Women’s Tennis Association rankings, which strengthens its position as one of the most prominent and important events. The Abu Dhabi Sports Council is organizing the tournament in Zayed Sports City from February 1 to 8, 2025.

Nigel Gupta, tournament director at IMG, said that this year’s edition of the tournament is an important step towards strengthening the status of tennis in the region, as seven of the top 20 players in the world have been confirmed to participate, which reflects the growing status of the tournament on the global stage.
