Al-Masry Club of Port Said decides on Enyimba’s complaint in CAF

Mohamed Musa, a member of the Board of Directors of the Port Said Club, and head of the club’s first football team delegation, spoke about the difficulties that his team faced, on the trip to Nigeria, explaining his club’s stability despite the complaint of Enyimba officials, in the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Al-Masry is preparing to face its counterpart, Enyimba, next Sunday, in the fifth round of the group stage in the Confederation Cup competition.
Musa said in press statements: “We faced great difficulties upon our arrival in Nigeria and we received a very bad reception from Enyimba officials.”
He continued: “We took a domestic flight from the city of Abuja to the city of Uyo, and the management of the Nigerian club ignored our reception, and we received a great shock, as there were no buses available. To take us to the residence, which caused us to wait a long time inside the airport until the buses that would transport us were provided.”
He continued: “I extend my thanks to Professor Samah Badawi, Deputy Ambassador of Egypt to Nigeria, which was keen to wait with the mission until all travel procedures from Abuja to Uyo were completed, and worked to overcome all obstacles that We faced it.”
He continued: “The Enyimba administration decided without justification to cancel the reservation of our training ground, and we did not find an explanation for all the obstacles we are facing from the Nigerian side, before The upcoming meeting.
He concluded: “We have decided to file a complaint against the Nigerian in CAF and we will work to remove all obstacles facing the team before the match.” The expected".
