Al-Wasl includes goalkeeper Raja, the Moroccan champion

Moroccan media reported that Al-Wasl Club reached an agreement with Raja Athletic Club’s goalkeeper, Anas Zeniti, who holds the Moroccan Professional Football League title, to join its ranks during the current transfer period. The newspaper “Hesport” said that Moroccan goalkeeper Anas Zeniti reached a final agreement to join the ranks of Al-Wasl Club, after suddenly terminating his contract on Sunday with his former club, Raja Sports Club.
She stated that Ziniti’s contract with last season’s league and cup champions will extend for six months until the end of the current season, explaining that the regulations of the UAE Football Association prevent the goalkeeper from participating in local league matches, which means that his participation will be limited to external competitions, most notably the AFC Champions League for the elite.
She added: “It is expected that Al-Zeniti will appear in Al-Wasl’s squad during its participation in the group stage of the AFC Champions League for the elite, where it may face the Saudi Al-Nasr Club, led by its star Cristiano Ronaldo, in the seventh round on February 3rd, and it may also meet in the final round on February 18th with Al-Hilal Saudi Arabia.” Which includes his compatriot, international goalkeeper Yassine Bono.
