The Ministry of Environment confirms that the country’s markets are free of contaminated beef pepperoni products

The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, in coordination with local regulatory authorities, confirmed that it has taken all necessary precautionary measures to ensure consumer safety, in follow-up to the warning issued regarding an incident of contamination of a beef pepperoni product with Listeria monocytogenes bacteria.
The Ministry explained that the results of investigations and inspections showed that the facility in question had taken all the required preventive measures to ensure the health and safety of the food in circulation.
It was also found that the products traded in the markets are safe and fully comply with health requirements and requirements.
The Ministry affirmed its continued commitment to monitoring food safety and ensuring the protection of citizens’ health through continuous coordination with all concerned authorities.
