Urgent: The handball team loses to Iceland in the World Cup

The Egyptian handball team lost to Iceland with a score of 27-24 in the Pharaohs’ first match in the main round of the World Championship held in Denmark, Norway and Croatia
The Icelandic team led our national team with a score of 13/9 in the first half of the match in the middle Great brilliance for the Icelanders goalkeeper, and the Pharaohs were affected by the absences. Thus, the Icelandic team topped the group with 6 points, while the Egyptian team’s balance stopped at 4 points.
Our team had qualified for the main round, topping its group after achieving the full score in the preliminary round by winning all its matches.
The Egyptian national team’s second match will be in the main round on Friday with Slovenia.
