"Security Industry Regulatory Agency" The British Security Institute signs a memorandum of understanding

Dubai, January 23 / WAM / The Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) signed a memorandum of understanding with the British Security Institute (UK) with the aim of enhancing joint cooperation and exchanging knowledge and expertise in the security field.
The memorandum, which aims to implement the best international practices to develop the security sector and raise its standards in line with the highest international standards, was signed by His Excellency Khalifa Ibrahim Al-Sulais, CEO of the Security Industry Regulatory Agency, and Professor Simon Hepburn, CEO of the British Security Institute.
The memorandum aims to qualify security cadres, raise the standards of the security profession, enhance training and education, provide support and consultations, develop research and innovation, and facilitate communication to enhance security cooperation and exchange security information.
His Excellency Khalifa Ibrahim Al-Sulais stressed that the memorandum is part of the institution’s ongoing efforts to enhance international cooperation and advance the security sector in the UAE. He said that the partnership with the British Security Institute is an important step towards enhancing innovation and exchanging experiences to achieve our common goals in building a sustainable security sector capable of facing future challenges.
