Yasimna Issa wins 3 gold medals in the Egypt International Paralympic Badminton Championship

Yasmina Issa, the Egyptian Paralympic badminton team player, was crowned with 3 gold medals during her participation in the Egypt International Badminton Championship in its second edition, which was held in Halls No. 2 and 4 of the Cairo International Stadium during the period from 21 to 26 January.

 

And “Jesus” got She won the women’s singles gold medal in the SH6 classification after defeating Canadian Colleen Coletta. With a score of 2-0, the results of the rounds were as follows: "21-14, 21-5".

 

She added the women’s doubles gold medal, accompanied by her Indian colleague, "Rachana Patel" In the SH6 women’s doubles competition after topping the group without losing and defeating all of their competitors.

 

As for the third gold medal, she went with her French partner, “Maxime Gribeauval.” In the mixed doubles competitions in the SH6 medical classification, after their victory over the Canadian pair consisting of: "Justin Kendrick and Colin Colletta" With a score of 2-0, the results of the rounds were as follows: "21-11, 21-9".

 

So Yasmina Issa added 3 gold medals to Egypt’s tally in the international tournament in which it is participating. 135 male and female players representing 20 countries: “India – Austria – Brazil – South Africa – Côte d’Ivoire – Canada – Kenya – Czech Republic – Nigeria – Congo – Peru – Saudi Arabia – England – Sweden – France – Switzerland – Germany – Turkey – Azerbaijan – in addition to Egypt, the host country.

 

Egyptian players won 9 bronze medals yesterday. Mohammed Rashid won a bronze medal in the individual competitions WH1, and he, along with his colleague Mahmoud Youssef, won a bronze medal in the doubles competitions WH1-WH2. Muhammad Hassan Farraj also won a bronze medal in the doubles competitions WH1-WH2.
