المملكة: Riyadh .. 7 countries at the Aviation Security Committee meeting in the Middle East

The Kingdom, represented by the General Authority of Civil Aviation, hosted today, Wednesday, in Riyadh, the eleventh meeting of the Executive Guidance Committee of the Cooperative Program for Aviation Security in the Middle East, headed by the Executive Vice President of the Authority Security Sector in the Authority and the head of the cooperative program for aviation security in the Middle East, Mohammed bin Saad Al -Fawzan.
In the presence of the Director of the Regional Office of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in the Middle East, M. Muhammad Abu Bakr Al -Farah.
Representatives of the member states of the program, a delegation from the International Civil Aviation Organization, the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, and a number of international supporting bodies participated in the meeting, in addition to the presence of representatives from 7 countries, namely: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Lebanon, Sudan, Yemen.

Enhancing security in the aviation sector

Al -Fawzan stressed the importance of these regular meetings in discussing the fundamental issues related to civil aviation security, and coming out with effective visions to enhance security in the sector, noting that the participation of the continuous countries will contribute significantly to enhancing cooperation between member states and developing aviation security in the region and the world, in a way that contributes to building a future Safe civil aviation.

Participants praised the achievements of the cooperative program for aviation security in the Middle East during the past year.
They praised the pioneering role played by the Kingdom in enhancing aviation security in the region, and its continuous support for member states and program initiatives, with the aim of enhancing the security and protection of civil aviation from any illegal threats or interventions.
