Dubai World Chamber attracts 207 companies in 2024

Dubai, February 2 / WAM / The Dubai World Chamber, one of the three rooms operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chamber, succeeded during the year 2024, by attracting 207 different companies between multinationals, small and medium, compared to 133 companies that were attracted during 2023, with a growth of 56% in the number The companies that were attracted to Dubai by the Chamber.
The list of companies attracted by the Chamber during the past year included 51 multinational companies, compared to 33 companies in 2023, with a growth of 55%, and 156 small and medium companies in 2024, an increase of 56% compared to 100 companies that were attracted during 2023.
The Dubai World Chamber succeeded in 2024, with the support of the expansion of 114 local companies to new global markets, with a growth of 48% compared to 77 local companies whose expansion was supported in the year 2023.
Sultan Ahmed bin Salim, Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Chamber, said: The results achieved during the year 2024 reflect the importance of efforts to enhance Dubai’s investment attractiveness globally, and to support the growth of the local business community on the international scene.
He explained that the network of external offices of the Dubai World Chamber plays a vital role in reviewing the promising opportunities that Dubai abounds against international investors, and support multinational companies to take advantage of the integrated competitive elements that Dubai enjoys, in conjunction with the development of the capabilities of companies operating in the emirate to expand their businesses In the most important international markets.
During the past year, the Chamber opened two external offices in Kazakhstan and Colombia, bringing the number of external representative offices to the DP World to 33 offices, which enhances efforts to attract foreign investment, and support Dubai -based companies to explore new economic and commercial opportunities in Promising global markets.
In order to enhance international cooperation, during the past year, the Chamber received 182 visiting delegations with the participation of 500 participants, and the Chamber also participated in 127 international events in 78 cities within 50 countries.
In the context of the “New Prospects for External Expansion” initiative, the Dubai World Chamber organized during the past year, commercial missions to both Indonesia and Vietnam, in addition to Senegal and Morocco, along with Serbia, Turkey, Uganda and Tanzania, during which more than 2,205 bilateral meetings were organized between companies Participation with its counterparts in those markets, by 88% in the number of bilateral business meetings compared to the year 2023.
