President Ahmed Al -Shara visited the President of the Syrian Arab Republic and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Asaad Al -Shaibani, and their accompanying delegation on Sunday evening, the headquarters of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Commission “Sayya”, as part of his current visit to the Kingdom.
He was received upon his arrival and his accompanying delegation, Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Cyber ​​Security Authority, Dr. Musaed bin Muhammad Al -Aiban, and the Minister of Communications and Information Technology M. Abdullah bin Amer Al -Sawah, and the head of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority, “Sayya”, Dr. Abdullah bin Sharaf Al -Ghamdi, and Governor of the National Cyber ​​Security Authority Eng. Majid bin Muhammad Al -Mazy, and the Governor of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, Suhail bin Muhammad Abanmi.

The Syrian President toured the technical “Sayan” facilities associated with the field of data and artificial intelligence, listening to a briefing from the President of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority for the efforts made by the Kingdom in this field, within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030 with continuous and continuous support from His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Commission for Data and Artificial Intelligence – may God protect him – to build a national economy based on data, and to make the Kingdom a global center for artificial intelligence technologies.

He touched on the Kingdom’s efforts in achieving the optimal benefit from data and artificial intelligence technologies and the progress it has achieved in several development fields, including the use of data to support government agencies in facilitating the access of citizens, residents, pilgrims and pilgrims for their services with ease and security, including what the comprehensive national application provides “our trust”.

During the visit, visual offers from the digital economy system, from the National Cyber ​​Security Authority, and the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority were presented.
During the visit, the Syrian President was accompanied by the Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, Muhammad bin Abdul -Malik Al -Sheikh (the accompanying minister), and the ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Syria, Faisal Al -Mujafir.
