A partnership agreement between the Sharjah Research Complex and the Irish Projects Authority

Sharjah, February 3/ WAM/ Sharjah Complex for Research, Technology and Innovation signed a partnership agreement with the Irish Projects Authority on the sidelines of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival.
The agreement was signed in the presence of – His Excellency Sheikha Badour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Complex – His Excellency Hussein Al -Mahmoudi, Executive Director of the Synod and Marina Donuho, Head of the Research and Innovation Sector in the Irish Projects Authority.
This agreement, which was also attended by Dr. Asma Mahmoud Fikry, Director of Government and Institutional Partnerships in the complex, opens the prospects for cooperation in the areas of advanced manufacturing, sustainability, and emerging technologies, which contributes to enabling companies to reach the markets with greater effectiveness in light of the significant growth witnessed in trade exchange Between the UAE and Ireland.

Hussein Al -Mahmoudi described this partnership as a qualitative step to enhance trade and research relations between the UAE and Ireland and said that the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Complex is a global forum that attracts innovation pioneers in various fields and added that Ireland’s experiences in advanced manufacturing, clean technologies, and fine engineering constitute a great addition to our system.
For its part, Marina Donuho indicated that this agreement represents a major station in strengthening strategic partnerships between Ireland and the Gulf states, noting that Sharjah is an ideal destination for Irish companies in the areas of advanced manufacturing and accurate engineering, which opens new prospects for research, development and industrial cooperation between the two countries.
In the same context, Dr. Asmaa Mahmoud Fikry affirmed that the agreement is the coronation of a full year of cooperation between the complex and the Irish Projects Authority, noting the organization of commercial delegations visits and exchange of experiences between the two sides.
Through this agreement, the two parties seek to achieve strategic goals that include providing joint commercial and investment opportunities, enabling companies to expand in the Sharjah and Ireland markets in addition to launching training programs to support companies to adapt to different business environments.
