For his part, international lecturer Omar Al Hammadi told «Emirates Today»: “The first round competitions appeared at a better technical level compared to the previous seasons, and I see that the high number of teams that compete for the qualification card reflects the technical development of the tournament.”

He added: “The many positives that distinguished the first round of the league do not mean that organizational problems should not appear, the most prominent of which is the schedule of matches, which has not been modified after the withdrawal of the Fleetwood United team, as the championship urgently needs to adjust the table.”

He continued: «The second round of the championship will appear stronger thanks to some strong contracts conducted by the clubs, and the approaching competitions from the decisiveness at the top of the standings and the end of it, as well as the possible return of the Emirates team to compete after the use of coach Badr Taban.
