Higher education grants licenses to 16 high education institutions in Dubai

Dubai, February 4/ WAM/ The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in cooperation with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai, announced the granting of institutional licenses to 16 high education institutions in Dubai, which includes institutions operating in the emirate’s free zones in a move that enhances the achievement of the targets of the government bureaucracy program .
His Excellency Ahmed Ibrahim Al Saadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Assistant Scientific Research for the Acting Education Operations Sector, said that these licenses are part of the Ministry’s efforts to unify the procedures for licensing higher education institutions, in cooperation with local educational authorities.
He stressed that this step aims to simplify the procedures and reduce the time necessary to complete the license, in proportion to the targets of the government bureaucracy program.
Al -Saadi added that these decisions are the result of the strategic cooperation agreement between the Ministry and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai, and aims to enhance an attractive educational environment, capable of attracting prestigious international educational institutions, which contributes to enhancing the state’s competitiveness globally in the higher education sector.
For his part, Dr. Wafi Daoud, Executive Director of the Strategy and Institutional Efficiency Sector in the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in Dubai, stressed that granting the license to 16 branches of international universities represents an important step in the framework of cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and this enhances Dubai’s ability to meet the standards of speed and efficiency in The education sector, in line with the 2033 education strategy that aims to consolidate Dubai’s position as a leading destination for education worldwide, attract more international students and educators, and attract international higher education institutions.
He explained that this will enable students affiliated with these institutions to benefit from the Ministry’s approval of certificates and lists of grades and other documents, and these licenses confirm the Ministry’s recognition of certificates issued by these educational institutions.
The list of institutions that obtained the new licenses included the Australian University of Certen, the French Institute, the University of Midlesx Dubai, the University of Merdock, Australia, the University of Bradford, British University, the Birla Technology Institute from India, the University of Dimmonvort, British University, the Holt College of American Business, the Italian University of Louis, Manipal Indian Academy, Australian College of SIA, European University of Germany, French College of Sweima, Georgetown American University, the High College of Trade, and the University of Manchester, British University.
