The Armed Forces opens Al Amal Complex for handicraft and leather crafts workshops and a permanent exhibition of products

In implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to support the elements of cultural development and provide a decent life for citizens in the unplanned residential areas being developed, The Armed Forces, in cooperation with the Cairo Governorate and a number of civil society institutions, opened the Amal Complex for handicraft and leather craft workshops and a permanent exhibition of leather products, which was implemented on an area (4) acres in the city of Al-Amal, which includes (107) workshops for leather industries and a permanent exhibition for selling leather products as well as a number of administrative facilities and a charitable hospital that includes various medical specialties to serve the people of the region.

The project aims to make optimal use of human energies by providing job opportunities and a creative climate for the manufacture of handmade and leather products in accordance with the requirements of the labor market.

A number of citizens expressed their deep gratitude to the political leadership and its efforts in comprehensive development to complete these projects that benefit all those working in them and those who frequent them.

This comes within the framework of concerted efforts that reflect the vision of the Egyptian state, believing that the people of the country are capable of excellence when they have the capabilities.

The opening ceremony was attended by Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Urban Planning, Dr. Ibrahim Saber Governor of Cairo, and Major General Ahmad Muhammad Mustafa Radwan, Director General of the Land Projects Authority Armed Forces.
