"Edge" Expect a letter of intent with "Lockheed Martin" To cooperate in the fields of aviation and defense

Abu Dhabi, February 18 / WAM / IBI, a specialized company in fine engineering in the aviation, oil, gas and defense sectors in the UAE, which belongs to the Edge Group, today signed a letter of intent with Lockheed Martin, the global defense technology company that stimulates Innovation and promoting scientific discovery, to explore emerging opportunities to support industrial growth in the UAE, and to enhance their national defense capabilities and self -sufficiency in the main defense fields.

A letter of intent was signed by Michael Desies, CEO of ABI, and John Clark, Vice President of Business Development in the missile and fire control department in Lockheed Martin, in the presence of Khaled Al -Zaabi, Head of the Pits and Systems Sector in Edge, on the sidelines of the exhibition and conference activities International Defense (IDEX) 2025.

Under the letter of intent, IBI and Lockheed Martin explore the opportunities for cooperation with the aim of enhancing the commitment of “EBI” to support industrial growth in the UAE and enhance its national defense capabilities and self -sufficiency in the main defense fields.

Michael Desies, CEO of EBI, said that the letter of intent is in line with the company’s commitment to excellence and innovation in light of its basic focus on exploring partnerships with mutual benefit to support the diversity of its operations and unify efforts with the main players in the aviation and defense sectors, stressing that the company is on the road The correct view of strengthening the position of the UAE is a leading competitive industrial center in various sectors, in line with the Edge Group’s message regarding the localization of leading technologies and industrial capabilities in the country.

For his part, John Clark, Vice President of Business Development in the Missile and Fire Control Department in Lockheed Martin stressed the importance of working with API to enhance innovation and support local industries and long -term defense capabilities of the UAE, explaining that this cooperation confirms the joint commitment to providing the latest technologies and building an industrial base Sustainable in the area.
