His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidency Bureau, chaired the meeting of the Ministerial Council for Development, which was held in the Palace of Al -Watan in Abu Dhabi, where during the meeting the Council briefed on the developments of work in government projects and programs, and discussed a number of organizational decisions raised by the ministries and federal authorities.

The meeting’s agenda included discussing the proposed organizational decisions in the health and social empowerment sectors, in addition to the developments of the implementation of policies and government housing programs submitted by the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, and to follow up the results and recommendations of the Committee to inventory the damage to torrents and rain to infrastructure and federal projects in the country.

The Council also reviewed a number of government strategies and initiatives, aimed at enhancing the state’s competitiveness in the fields of renewable energy and the green economy, investment, higher education and entrepreneurship, in addition to discussing government reports related to raising the efficiency of government work and the results of the state’s labor market policies.
