In numbers .. Banking credit records annual growth at the end of January 2025

The total bank credit granted to the public and private sectors in the Kingdom reached its highest summit at the level of 3,005,946 million riyals at the end of January 2025, achieving annual growth by a rate of 15%, with an increase exceeding 348,219 million riyals, compared to the same period in 2024, as it was 2,621,726 million riyals.
The total bank credit achieved a monthly growth by the end of January 2025 by an estimated rate of 2%, with an increase of about 50,395 million riyals, compared to the end of December 2024, as it was 2,955,550 million riyals.
This comes as the monthly statistical bulletin issued by the Saudi Central Bank for January 2025 showed.

17 different economic activities

The bank credit granted to the public and private sectors are distributed to more than 17 diversified economic activities, to become a supportive and enhanced in achieving comprehensive and sustainable economic growth, and contributing to the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.

Long -term bank credit (for more than 3 years) constituted 48.6% of total credit, at a value of 1,461,193 million riyals at the end of January 2025.
While short -term bank credit (less than a year) represented 36.6% of total credit, at a value of 1,100,146 million riyals.
The average -term bank credit (from one to 3 years) represented 14.8% of the total credit, at a value of 444,605 ​​million riyals.
