المملكة: Kingdom and Pakistan … a strategic partnership that extends for more than 70 years

The Kingdom with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has close historical relations that extend to more than 70 years, during which it evolved to the level of “strategic partnership”, with the support of the leadership of the two countries.
The two countries are keen to develop cooperation between them in various fields, to serve common interests.
Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed his admiration for the achievements of His Highness the Crown Prince – may God protect him – during the past eight years, and the transformation led by – may God bless him – and who conveyed the Kingdom in a qualitative way and contributed to its sophistication and development in various fields.
He attributed this to the dynamic and wise leadership of His Highness – may God protect him – as well as the Vision 2030, which was considered a role model at the international level.

Enhancing and documenting bilateral relations

The mutual visits between the leaderships of the two countries over the past decades contributed to strengthening and documenting bilateral relations, and inaugurated the visit of His Highness the Crown Prince- may God protect him- in February 2019, a new stage in relations between the two countries, during which the establishment of the Saudi-Pakistani Supreme Coordination Council was announced, and the signing of agreements that exceeded the value of its investment opportunities is $ 20 billion.

The establishment of the Saudi -Pakistani Supreme Coordination Council represents a turning point in the march of Saudi -Pakistani relations, as it contributed to its strengthening and development, and the introduction of political, economic, investment, security and military cooperation initiatives between the two countries, within the framework of complementary action in accordance with effective governance mechanisms, in order to achieve their aspirations to build a strategic partnership.

Respect for the Kingdom’s leadership

The Kingdom’s leadership is greatly respected and appreciated by all Pakistani political and popular circles, based on the solid ties and foundations of the relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, the leadership role of the Kingdom in the Islamic world, and its continuous support to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan since its independence.
In addition to the services it provides to the guests of Rahman and visitors to the Two Holy Mosques.

The two countries are working to support international efforts to stop the current Israeli military operations in Gaza and mitigate their humanitarian repercussions, and they affirm the need for the international community to compel its responsibilities and pressure to stop Israeli hostilities in the Gaza Strip, adhere to international law, and facilitate the arrival of humanitarian aid without obstacles.

The Kingdom’s support for the Pakistani economy

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan appreciates the Kingdom’s permanent support for the Pakistani economy and the two countries are keen to discuss cooperation opportunities provided by the economic transformation programs witnessed by the Kingdom in light of the Vision 2030 and the mutual desire to enhance trade and investment relations.
