Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi chairs the Executive Council meeting

Sharjah, April 21, WAM / His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, chaired this Tuesday morning, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, the Council meeting, which was held in the office of His Highness the Ruler.
The Council congratulated His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, for the harvest of the fourth season of the wheat farm, and the launch of the “My Farm” platform, which aims to empower farmers and livestock breeders, in a way that contributes to improving the quality of organic agricultural products and crops, and supports the food security system in the country and enhances its sustainability.
The Council discussed a number of topics concerned with monitoring the performance of government departments and bodies, and development plans in various sectors that aim to improve the quality of life for citizens, keeping pace with the aspirations of society and enhancing the efficiency of the government work system in the Emirate of Sharjah.
In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, aimed at enabling government agencies to perform their roles more efficiently, and enhancing their institutional capabilities in order to achieve advanced levels of excellence and sustainability in government work, the Council approved the organizational structure and job descriptions of the Sharjah Antiquities Authority.
This accreditation comes within the framework of the wise leadership’s keenness to develop the government work system in accordance with best practices, which contributes to the preparation of qualified national cadres capable of supporting the antiquities sector, strengthening efforts aimed at preserving and preserving the cultural heritage, and consolidating the emirate’s position as a leading civilizational and cultural center at the regional and international levels. The Council directed that the draft organizational structure be submitted to His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah.
The Council adopted a decision regarding fees for services of the expert profession before the judicial authority in the Emirate of Sharjah, within the framework of regulating the practice of the profession and developing judicial work mechanisms, in a way that contributes to raising the efficiency of the services provided, enhancing the quality of technical reports, consolidating the principles of justice and transparency, and ensuring the rights of all parties in accordance with approved best practices.
The Council reviewed a report on residential complexes and their impact on supporting and stabilizing families, which contribute to accelerating the pace of providing housing and delivering it to beneficiaries within record time, in addition to ensuring the quality of construction through standardization of specifications and direct supervision of implementation, and reducing construction costs, as well as providing integrated residential environments that include comprehensive infrastructure and services, in a way that enhances the satisfaction of beneficiaries and reduces cases of faltering housing construction.
The report reviewed the statistics of government residential complexes, which are supervised by the Housing Department in the cities of the Emirate of Sharjah, with a total number of 2,488 houses, of which 1,154 houses have been delivered, while work is underway to complete 1,334 houses, in addition to the geographical distribution of residential complexes, the most prominent challenges, proposals and recommendations, and approved government housing design models, in a way that supports the development of the housing system and keeps pace with the aspirations of citizens.
