The start of the second week of the Scientific Council of the Islamic Forum in the city of Al Dhaid

Sharjah, April 21 / WAM / The city of Al Dhaid hosted the work of the second week of the Scientific Council for “Interpretation of Surat Al-Nour – in light of Al-Tabari’s interpretation”, organized by the Islamic Forum in Sharjah, as part of its cultural and scientific programs for the year 2026, aiming to spread Sharia knowledge and enhance societal values.

The Martyr Sultan Bin Howeiden Mosque in Al Dhaid witnessed the opening of the activities, and Dr. Yousef Muhammad Al-Maani, Professor of Interpretation and Qur’anic Sciences at Jumeirah University, gave a lecture in which he discussed “family and social etiquette” in Surat Al-Nour, reviewing its implications in light of Imam Al-Tabari’s interpretation, and its connection to the reality of the contemporary family.

The Scientific Council, which witnessed a remarkable presence from the people of Al Dhaid and the surrounding areas, aims to expand the scope of its programs and reach various regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, thus contributing to enhancing the role of mosques as centers of science and knowledge, and consolidating moderate values ​​in society.

The Scientific Council sessions continue daily in the city of Al Dhaid, as part of an integrated program that combines scientific roots and community interaction, in support of the vision of the Emirate of Sharjah in promoting cultural and cognitive mobility.
