The General Authority for Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque began today, receiving the crowds of retreating in the last ten days of Ramadan for the year 1446 AH, the Prophet’s Mosque.
The Authority has prepared all services and facilities, which include watering services, providing breakfast, suhoor, hot and cold drinks, and cleaning services to receive retreating men and women, as well as providing an integrated medical clinic to maintain the health and safety of the retreating, and to provide gifts to them, in addition to organizing a series of scientific and guiding lectures for the retreat several languages.

I’tikaaf controls

She stressed the necessity of retreating the controls and instructions specified for i’tikaaf in the Prophet’s Mosque, as it mandated field committees to follow up the guidance and directive services for the retreat, to achieve comfort and reassurance to them, and to provide full care for all the people of the Prophet’s Mosque.
It is noteworthy that the commission was allocated to the western surface of the retreat, which can be entered through the doors through stairs No. (6) and (10), while the northeastern section and entry doors (24) and (25a) are allocated to the retreat.
