Fire control
The fire began in a mountainous area in the “Sanchong” area, and the flames soon spread under dry climatic conditions and strong winds, which prompted the authorities to issue a third level warning to the region.
The Forestry Agency paid about 120 vehicles and deployed 1,360 individuals to control the fire, and about 40 helicopters were used for the firefighting agency, the army and the Coast Guard.
“KPS” indicated that about 70% of the fires have been extinguished until today, while the authorities intend to conduct an investigation into the fire to find out the reason for its outbreak.
