"Sharjah Islamic" It enhances the values of giving and solidarity with sustainable Ramadan initiatives

Sharjah, on March 22 / WAM / Sharjah Islamic Bank continues its annual approach in the holy month of Ramadan, where for the twenty year in a row the fasting breakfast campaign, and launched the sixth edition of the “Merck at the door of your house”, in cooperation with the Sharjah Charitable Society.
Jassim Al -Balushi, head of the strategic administration at the Sharjah Islamic Bank, said that these initiatives reflect the bank’s commitment to spreading the values of mercy and brotherhood and enhancing the spirit of giving during the holy month, pointing out that the continuation of the fasting breakfast tent of the bank for more than 20 years embodies the consolidation of the principles of charitable and humanitarian work, in line with its vision in achieving sustainable development and enhancing social responsibility.
The fasting breakfast tent, which is organized by the bank annually next to the King Faisal Mosque in Sharjah, provides 1,200 meals per day for the fasting people, in an atmosphere that reflects compassion among members of society, with the participation of the bank employees during the blessed month.
The “Merck at the door of your home”, which is organized by the bank in cooperation with the association for the sixth year in a row, aims to support the needy families by distributing 4000 food baskets in various regions of the country to meet their basic needs during the holy month.
The work teams concerned have been keen to deliver food baskets to the homes of the beneficiaries, based on approved lists from the Sharjah Charitable Society.
