The Cyber ​​Security Council participates in the Military Police Exhibition

ABU DHABI, 30 JANUARY / WAM / The Cyber ​​Security Council is participating in the activities of the Military Police Exhibition to Combat Drugs and Cybercrime, as part of its ongoing national efforts to promote digital culture and protect society from increasing cyber threats.

Rashid Saeed Al Yamahi, Cyber ​​Awareness and Capacity Building Specialist at the Council, said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, that cybercrimes have become, in the current era, a real threat that goes beyond the digital space to reach tangible reality, indicating that they may cause huge material losses and psychological damage, and may even extend to pose a threat to lives, stressing that the individual is the first line of defense in the security system.

He called on the public to continuously develop their cyber skills and follow the Council’s official channels on social media platforms to learn about the latest fraud methods and how to confront them.

This participation is an embodiment of the Cybersecurity Council’s strategy to build the capabilities of national cadres and consolidate cooperation with military and security institutions to ensure a safe and stable digital environment that supports the country’s development process.

It is noteworthy that the exhibition, which is organized by the Ministry of Defense and will continue until the fourth of next February, witnesses active participation from an elite group of federal and local authorities and provides workshops and awareness sessions aimed at empowering military and community cadres with monitoring and control tools, and ensuring a safe and sustainable digital environment for all.
