المملكة: Monday .. the start of the national “competition” tests

The national “competition” national tests carried out by the Education and Training Authority, represented by the National Center for Measurement, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education will be launched on Monday, April 14, 2025 AD.
Students and students of grades (3 primary, 6 primary and 3 intermediate) target all schools in the Kingdom, to measure learning outcomes in mathematics, science and reading subjects in accordance with national curricula standards, and to reflect the best global practices in the educational evaluation

The project aims to conduct a comprehensive survey of the academic achievement of male and female students through codified standard tests that focus on measuring knowledge and basic skills and following up changes in educational levels at the national level.

Decision industry support

The results of these tests contribute to supporting the educational decision industry, developing the educational process within the classrooms, and providing accurate and reliable data used in scientific research and educational studies and enhances the quality of education and its outputs in line with the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.

More than 1,450,000 students participate in the implementation of the “Enfield” tests.

Paper tests

Paper tests are carried out daily through 3 different models that cover the content of the curriculum in the target materials and the 3 -primary grade test consists of 40 questions, while the 6 -primary and 3 -grade tests contain 70 questions and all questions are of a multiple choice type, where the student reads the question from the question booklet and shades the correct answer circle in the answer sheet allocated to him and printed in advance of his data.

The period of the test for the primary and 3 grades is two and a half hours, while the 3 and a half hours are allocated for the 3th grade, and this period also includes the answer to a questionnaire following the test directly, and focuses on teaching methods and social and economic factors that may affect educational attainment.

Supporting data

Electronic questionnaires also include parents, school principals and school teachers, and contribute to collecting data supportive to understand educational influences and analyze them deeply.

The application of the tests on the 3 -year grade starts from Monday, April 14, 2025 AD and continues until Thursday, April 17, and the 6 primary grade starts from Sunday, April 20 to Thursday, April 24, while 3 primary grade tests are conducted from Sunday 27 April to Wednesday, April 30, and the testing language varies between Arabic and English according to the specified timetable
